Grapes: Tannat, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot
Harvest: 2017
Terroir: Monte Belo do Sul - RS
Alcohol content: 13.5% vol.
Maturation: Aged for 24 months in 500L French oak barrels, first use.
Sensory Notes: This wine was carefully crafted from a blend of 30% Tannat, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Cabernet Franc, and 25% Merlot, aged for 24 months in first-use French oak barrels and refined for 24 months in stainless steel, resulting in a wine with high aging potential, yet with an intense nose, balanced, complex, and silky palate, a result of the long maturation period.
Deep, brilliant ruby color. Aromas of plum, cherry and currant, blueberry, floral nuances, coffee, caramel, tobacco, and notes of wood such as vanilla and cedar. A full-bodied and powerful wine, with robust yet polished tannins, medium-high acidity, and a long, pleasant finish.
Gastronomy: Pairs well with hearty Brazilian dishes such as feijoada, vaca atolada, and the traditional churrasco.
Serving Temperature: 16 to 18ºC
